Tutorial to Run Google Glass on your Android Device

The Google Glass is one of the biggest buzzes on the web and as you know, there are positive buzzes and negatives too. With this, you will be able to install apps from various sources other than the Google Play Store.

Browse to https://github.com/zhuowei/Xenologer and download the glasshome-modded.apk and install them on your device. With this, the basic ‘Glass Home’ screen will appear and when you start the Glass Home app, the “standard” Glass home screen will appear along with the clock that real Glass users see projected onto their eye. Here, you need to speak out “OK Glass” in order to access the menu and the most amazing thing is that you just need to speak out to try other stuffs in it.

Next, you need to install the camera, hangouts as well as the maps modules and this will make the Glass Home app to carry out interactions, start hangouts and access Google Maps with the camera (even only the front facing camera). While trying maps, the problem you are likely to face is not being able to cross the initial warning screen; this may tell you to keep your eyes on the road. Another issue is that Hangouts crash on Android 4.2 because of the variation in the fundamental Android code.
