Asus to Reveal new Nexus 7 at Computex [Rumor]

Well, a cool new report has come up saying Asus is likely to reveal the new Nexus 7 model at the Computex event which is scheduled to be held within a few days. But let us tell you that you need not take this rumor that seriously as not much of the details have been covered by any of the sources. According to IBN Live via “analysts,” it is expected that the company will be unveiling the Nexus 7 device during the ongoing of the Computex show. As you read above, the company is likely to unveil the device during Computex but at the same time, analysts have not confirmed about the fact that the 7 inched Nexus device will be displayed in Taipei and Taiwan. Most probably, one of these analysts is Chitra Gopal of the CLSA Asia-Pacific Markets and according to the expectations of Gopal, Asus and Acer are all set to “showcase new low-end [Android] tablets” at the upcoming Computex. The devices are likely to accompany MediaTek SoCs with them while being priced within the price range of $100 and $150. Even if it’s a rumor, there is no doubt that the new Nexus 7 is about to be unveiled soon.

According to another analyst, the next-generation device seems to be already seen at the Bluetooth SIG. Just by the closure of the Google I/O 2013, there was a rumor which said that the Nexus 7 tablet would be released at sometime in the month of July. The rumor also said that the device would be running on the latest Android 4.3 Jelly Bean operating system. On the other hand, another report says that the device is likely to be launched in the third quarter of this year. Heck with these rumors, we are eagerly waiting for the Computex to check out whether the Nexus 7 is coming up from its hiding place or not.
